Daniel DeBrucker BIO
Dan DeBrucker is a Dual-Masters Candidate in Divinity at Union Theological Seminary in NYC and Social Work at Columbia University. Dan is an ordained Elder of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and has served in a variety of leadership roles within the denomination, Synod and the Presbytery of Cayuga-Syracuse. Dan is currently a Candidate Under Care of the Presbytery of Cayuga-Syracuse.
Dan is the National Organizer to the Presbyterian Network to End Homelessness participating in many advocacy campaigns around affordable housing issues throughout the country. Prior to moving to NYC, Dan was a social worker focusing on homelessness and the lack of affordable housing in Central New York. Along with his studies, Dan is a Church Planter, and is discerning his call to plant a new worship community in New York City that will serve the Homeless: Runaway youth, Victims of Human Trafficking and those who are Spiritual but Not Religious. Dan is a 2017 recipient of the State University of New York Chancellors Award of Excellence for his involvement with the community of Central New York.
